Wooden Stakes
The natural robustness supporting your fences, vineyards and outdoor landscapes
Characteristics and applications
We take pride in our stakes, and that pride is reflected in the name EFF Piquets. Essential for your fences, vineyards, landscaping projects or agricultural installations, our chestnut and acacia timber stakes stand out for their authenticity and sturdiness. Sourced from locally-based, PEFC-certified forests, they combine durability, aesthetics and environmental responsibility.
All our stakes are made from naturally rot-resistant wood, offering exceptional longevity without chemical treatment. Chestnut and acacia are ideally suited for outdoor use: they withstand direct and prolonged contact with soil, even in conditions of constant moisture.
Our wooden stakes are available in several forms and finishes to meet the specific needs of each project:
Split Stakes
- Advantages:
cost-effective and extremely durable thanks to better preservation of wood-grain fibres and a lower proportion of sapwood - Preferred uses:
agricultural fences, livestock enclosures, land boundaries, rustic palisades, vineyards
Round Stakes
- Advantages:
aesthetically pleasing, uniform, and easy to install - Preferred uses:
garden fences, landscape design, tree stakes, slope supports
Sawn Stakes
- Advantages:
straight form, at least two flat faces which offer stability for mounted mesh or trellis, and cost-effective - Preferred uses:
ideal for fencing, vine support or trellising
Turned / Profiled Stakes
- Advantages:
constant diameter, visually uniform, and easy to install - Preferred uses:
public or private gardens, play areas, landscape layouts, horse fencing, planting beds, barrier constructions
Half-Round Sawn Stakes
