Why Choose a Chestnut Gate?
Natural Durability
Chestnut is a highly durable wood, naturally resistant to rot, wood-boring insects, and fungi.
Rich in tannins, it is naturally rot-proof, requiring no chemical treatment.
Excellent Outdoor Performance
It adapts perfectly to humid or variable climates — ideal if your gate is exposed to rain, sun, or wind.
Aesthetic Appeal
Chestnut has a beautiful grain and a light tone that weathers gracefully to a silvery grey when left untreated.
Its rustic yet refined look suits both traditional and modern homes.
Dimensional Stability
Chestnut is less prone to warping or twisting than many other woods, making it an ideal choice for gates that are opened and closed frequently.
Ease of Workmanship
It is easy to cut, drill, and assemble, which is handy if you wish to customize or repair it later.
Installing the Gate
Our wooden gates are easy to integrate with different types of fences.
They are fully compatible with our ganivelles: same wood species, harmonized style, and adjustable spacing.
To install a gate, you’ll need two posts with a diameter of 10/12 cm or 12/14 cm
All hardware is supplied, and it is pre-installed on Type A gates, which can also be designed as double-leaf openings.
